Winner of 2022 Customer Appreciation Event Competition

We had a great time celebrating our 5th annual customer appreciation event with you all, as well as the announcement of our rebrand! We are in the process of reaching out to our customers regarding the various raffles winners, and including those results here as well. Today we are please to announce the winner of our Invent a Cupcake competition: Matthew’s Sea Turtle (by Matthew S). Matthew’s Sea Turtle is a delicious chocolate cupcake piled high with caramel icing, topped with crunchy pecans and a touch of sea salt. Along with having his cupcake featured for the month of June, Matthew can stop by and pick from our selection of new Rise Bake Shoppe merch.

We also wanted to celebrate two ideas that we spent time really deliberating over, but that ultimately made our runners-up list. They are:

Kevin’s Key Lime Dream - this is a white cupcake topped with key lime frosting and filled with a graham-cracker filling

Kyle’s Velvet Bliss - this red velvet cupcake is speckled with rainbow sprinkles mixed throughout, has it’s top dipped in white chocolate, and is topped off with vanilla buttercream

There were also a few ideas that we felt at least deserved an honorable mention for their creativity. While these ideas may be a little too progressive to ever make it on to a bakery menu, we appreciate the outside the box thinking!

Susan’s Big Dil - this cupcake is big deal! A vanilla cake topped with pickle-juiced infused buttercream. A great place to use up all of that leftover pickle juice!

Rodney’s Old Bay Cupcake - this is an old bay seasoned cake topped with caramel icing. Pairs great with a Chesapeake Blue Crab dinner!

As our team approaches our fifth year anniversary operating under Tom Jr. and Jess Daly, we find ourselves as thankful for you today as we were the first day we made the decision to serve Mount Joy and the surrounding community. It has been a wild ride since 2017, navigating through the 1st year bumps, hitting our stride in year 2, taking it a day at a time through the Covid years, and working double time this past year to maintain outstanding service in spite of supply chain and labor challenges. Through it all, one thing has been consistent, the support of our customers and community! Thank you.

Saturday, May 28th is our 5th Annual Customer Appreciation Day!

Every year, we take a moment to celebrate our customers with a day of giveaways, prizes, and promotions. This year, we plan to celebrate with:

• Free coffee all day

• Free helium balloons all day

• Free samples all day

• Raffles for branded apparel

• Launching our Customer Rewards Program

• Competition to have a cupcake named after you!

If you have found this website, then you might have already discovered that we also have a big announcement planned, we will be changing our name! Historically, we have been known as The Bake Shoppe at Country Table. Beginning in May 2022, we will be transitioning to our new name: Rise Bake Shoppe. After much consideration, we felt that one of the most impactful ways our company could capture who we are and what we value was to change our name to Rise Bake Shoppe. Rise is a bakery term that embodies the upward progress we desire for our team, business, customers and community. It is a process word, like a cake that’s moving upward but isn’t quite done baking yet. We are all a work-in-progress.
